Models, Models, Models

Brooklyn, NY, 2022

Produced for In the Round, On the Flat at Pratt’s Siegel Gallery, this body of work argues that new fabrication technologies can make physical modeling cheaper, faster, and denser with information all at once. Canonical houses were rebuilt as digital models, translated into fabrication files, and produced as a coordinated set.

Daylight analysis and animation were folded into the same workflow, so each object carries analytical content as well as form — low-cost, high-impact making, demonstrated for a teaching institution.
