Show Time

New York, NY, 2023

A gut renovation of a bar interior in Hell’s Kitchen, Show Time organizes a narrow footprint around a single luminous object. The bar anchors the room and shifts in character across an evening’s programs, with saturated light doing the work that partitions would otherwise take in floor area.

Graphics and signage extend that atmosphere out to the street. Surfaces throughout are detailed to absorb the wear of nightly service while holding an identity legible from the door.
